blues scale

The pentatonic scale is a very popular scale. it arises of the A-minor-scale by letting out the tones B and F. Then the scale has got 5 tones: A - C - D - E - G.

Pentatonic scale : A - C - D - E - G

This scale meight be extendet by the so called 'blue notes' ( C#, D#, G# ). The term 'blue note' stands for a tone-area around the chrmomatic tone. It allso could match a near overtone.
The whole new Blues-scale is:
Blues scale : A - C - C# - D - D# - E - G - G#

symmetrc division of oktave

New scales arises on cutting the octave in parts of same size.

Division of the 12 tones of an octave in 3 equal parts leads to the great-thrid-scale. Great thrid scale : A - C# - F In this form is the matching accord A+.
Thsi scale matches to 5th step in harmonic minor without the tones A, B, D and F.

A division by 4 leads to the small-thrid-scale.

Small thrid scale : A - C - D# - F#
A matching accord is A0.
This scale allso occurs in harmonic-minor on the 2th step on leaving out the tones A, C und E.

Division by 6 leads to the wohle-tone-scale.
Wohle tone scale : A - B - C# - D# - F - G
It suits to A+ und A7/#4.

Division by 12 leads to the 12-tone-scale ( chromatic ).
Chromatic : A-Bb-B-C-C#-D-Eb-E-F-F#-G-G#
